Congratulations on your offer of admission to the Allen School!
Our visit days are Tuesday and Wednesday, March 12 and 13, 2024. We have organized events that will give you a technical overview of the department as a whole, a chance to interact with faculty and students working in individual research areas, and an opportunity to learn what life is like in our department, our university, and in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest. In addition, an important part of visiting is individual meetings with faculty and students of most interest to you. Those visits are arranged in advance, and happen concurrently with many of the “main events.” To learn more about the event, please view the Visit Schedule (TBD).
Your 2024 Prospective Student Committee Chairs (aka PSC Chairs) are:
- Tiernan Kennedy, 3rd year in molecular programming
- Lisa Orii, 3rd year in ICTD and HCI
- Sam Ross, 2nd year in HCI and CS Ed
- Sofia Serrano, final year in NLP

Can’t make it?
We’re sorry that you won’t be able to visit! Please send the advising team an email and let us know what’s blocking you from visiting! You should still send your faculty contacts an email so that they can help arrange Zoom meetings for you to meet them and other faculty of interest. We’ll also be recording the sessions on Tuesday morning.
