Congratulations on your offer of admission to the Allen School!

Our visit days are Tuesday and Wednesday, March 11 and 12, 2025. We have organized events that will give you a technical overview of the department as a whole, a chance to interact with faculty and students working in individual research areas, and an opportunity to learn what life is like in our department, our university, and in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest. In addition, an important part of visiting is individual meetings with faculty and students of most interest to you. Those visits are arranged in advance, and happen concurrently with many of the “main events.” To learn more about the event, please view the Visit Schedule (TBD).

Your 2025 Prospective Student Committee Chairs (aka PSC Chairs) are:

  • Tiernan Kennedy, 4th year in molecular programming
  • Safwan Diwan, 1st year in MISL (Molecular Information Systems Lab)
  • Sam Ross, 3rd year in HCI and CS Ed
  • James Yoo, 2nd year in PLSE (Programming Languages & Software Engineering)
  • Henry Wong, 1st year in S&P (Security & Privacy) and MISL

We can all be reached using the PSC Chair mailing list. If you plan to participate in our visit, please register using the link in your offer email as early as possible, but no later than Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Contact our Ph.D. Program Manager, Joe Eckert, with any questions about the registration form, deadlines, and logistics.

Can’t make it?

We’re sorry that you won’t be able to visit! Please send the advising team an email and let us know what’s blocking you from visiting! You should still send your faculty contacts an email so that they can help arrange Zoom meetings for you to meet them and other faculty of interest. We’ll also be recording the sessions on Tuesday morning.
